My works differ in size and media. I like to experiment a great deal with various techniques, such as collage, colourful inks and tissue paper. I love linear work, but I’m also passionate about colour.
My main objective in illustration is to achieve a perfect combination of masterful linear work and the simplicity of saturated colours. That is why I use collage in my works and saturated coloured inks to add some freshness to the vintage drawings.
The Bakerhouse Gallery was founded in 2017 by Klaus Billinger and Tom Lohner.
The gallery got its name from its first location. On the 3rd floor, just above the 450 year old imperial and royal court bakery Edegger-Tax in the Grazer Hofgasse, straight on 120 square meters, the first steps into the art world were dared.
The feel-good factor was important to the Bakerhouse Gallery team. You want the visitors allow yourself to relax with beverages and good music with the artists chat and discuss art. The goal is the art presentation again
Ease to give, but artistically high quality to present, and both experienced. To address art connoisseurs as well as those interested in art.
Gesere was born in Uruguay, South America. She claims that her love for life and nature was engraved by fire because she grew up near the sea.
She currently enjoys painting abstract motives. It’s a vital experience for her, where she also delights in capturing oneiric landscapes, as she calls them.
Gesere’s way of working is to free her unconscious and let the colors and textures guide her hands on the canvas. She uses a wide range of recycled tools, and techniques such as craquelure, scratch marks, and paints layer by layer to achieve the desired effect. Within the colors she chooses, a gilded bronze predominates, among other metalized colors, because it symbolises what life in The UAE and the Emirati culture suggests to her.
